The Movement

From Humble
Beginnings to a
Worldwide Stage.

The story began in Hialeah in the early 1980s: two friends at a stereo shop by day, building out of their own house at night on mini bikes, go-karts, three-wheelers, cars, suspension, and custom wheel fitment. The work started small, but the standard never did.

In October 1989, the team built a car for the IASCA World Finals in Arizona and won on a worldwide stage. Speaker Works was incorporated in 1991. By October 1993, Red's Miami had officially opened from a warehouse in Liberty City as the East Coast hub for Red's Hydraulics, and the next chapter was already moving at full speed.
